Immunity Booster healthy drink – Kadha

Hello Everyone,

As promised, I am back on my blog again and this time I would pen down the recipe of a healthy drink that is important during the covid 19 times. We know that the pandemic started in March and the numbers and the cases are varying as the months are passing by.

I believe maintaining an upstanding immunity is really important during these days especially when the winters are knocking the door. There are number of food that boosts the immunity but what would be better that making a hearty and healthy drink at home and we call it a :- Kadha.

Here’s why you should be having a Kadha : – Benefits of Kadha.

In simple words, I would explain you, how to make this drink. Please ensure that you have all the ingredients handy with you before you start the recipe : –

Ingredients :

  1. Cardamom Seed – 1
  2. Green Cardamom – 4 choti
  3. Cinnamon Stick – 2 stick
  4. Tea Leaves ( any ) – 1 tablespoon
  5. Black Pepper Corn – 10
  6. Carom seeds – 1 tablespoon
  7. Cumin seeds – 1 tablespoon
  8. Cloves – 4 to 5
  9. Ginger – 1/2 chopped
  10. Water – 750 Ml.
  11. Mint – 10 -12 leaves
  12. Turmeric Powder – 1/2 tablespoon
  13. Lemon Juice – 1 tablespoon.

Directions :

  1. In a pan, add water and switch on the flame.
  2. Add cardamom seeds, green cardamom, cinnamon sticks, tea leaves, black pepper corn, carom seeds, cumin seeds, cloves, ginger, water, mint, turmeric powder and lemon juice.
  3. Boil these ingredients for 15 minutes so that they get properly amalgamated with water.
  4. Kadha is now ready.

Enjoy this drink in the evening or after dinner and keep yourself healthy and fit.
